Merry Christmas. I hope Mary Jo feels less fatigue after the transfusion and hope some foods continue to taste good for her. Hugs from our house to yours :-)

I'm praying Mary Jo feels at least "pretty good" for Christmas. Spending time with family is bound to lift her spirits. We'll continue our prayers.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Hope all goes well this week with the chemo treatment and the side effects. I know it's not easy and I know she's fighting a hard fight but with all the love around her, I'm sure she'll be ok. We'll all pray for her recovery to good health and for strength for all of you to get through this.

That continual feeling of fatigue and nausea has to be awful. Hopefully they will be able find an dosage that isn't so hard on Mary Jo. We'll be keeping you in our prayers.

Sorry to hear that the blood counts are so low. We hope that the measures you are taking will help and you can continue the chemo. You remain in our prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear that Mary Jo is having such a hard time. I know it's not easy for either one of you, but especially hard to watch her go through this. My heart goes out to you both.
Sincerely,
Marilyn Gnewikow

My thoughts and prayers are with both of you, and many energizing thoughts with you, Mary Jo. I was grateful that Sharon let me know what you are facing. I am holding you tight in thought and prayer as you walk this journey. I was diagnosed with breast cancer on May 8 and went through two surgeries because they didn't get clean margins in the first. I opted for a mastectomy in the second surgery in July and at my oncologist's recommendation, haven't had chemo or radiation. Life looks different on this side of a cancer diagnosis. As Dave has commented in the former blogs, there is so much to learn in this journey and so many decisions with no exact answers. The emotional rollercoaster is difficult, along with all of the medical challenges. I will be holding you in prayer as you take each new step.

The upside is that a wig is convenient in some ways. You can comb it without it being on your pretty head and shampoo it without getting water in your eyes and ears :-) Everyone is right, Mary Jo, hair or no hair you're a beautiful person. Glad to hear the fever is down and treatment resumed so you can get it behind you. Praying this round is easier on you than the last. Hugs
